Salim Khaki, just finishing a sentence for trafficking cocaine, had apparently not learned from his previous encounters with the law and instead got back into the business, where he had an encounter with the competition. Even serving six years in a prison in the United States didn't convince him, so his bullet-riddled body was taken out of his car near Merrit, British Columbia. His family, however, described him only in glowing terms, one calling him "the best guy". I'm sure a lot of his addict customers thought so, too.
